Sunday at ECP run 2

Its the 2nd run at East Coast Park today, same time same place, we welcome all thats interested to join us.

DY CM came this time, surprisingly both CM and DY CM are avid runners... Same old tradition applies for outside sports of any kind, we waited till 6.50am before we kicked off the run. Distance range from 10km to 18km this time, couple of the runners wanted to do 20km but the ending part was cordon off due to the AYG, so the most they could do was 18km.

Some runners brought their family along too, their wives, girlfriends, kids... this is great, the running club has extended to beyond MSTF, we hope the runners really enjoy the runs and look forward to the upcoming ones..

Well Done Runners!!

Sundown Marathon - 247 Running Club

Sundown marathon 2009 is our club's first running event since its form. We had 14 participants for the marathon. We ran hard for 42km and all of us completed the run. The spirit was commendable. Despite cramps and abrasions, everyone did their best and showed the "Never say Die" Spirit. It was a first time for most of us. We had tried it once and we will do it again, challenging ourselves and will be better prepared!!
We started together and we end together, with the earlier finishers cheering and waiting for the later ones to come in... The sense of achievement for completing the marathon was a proud and unforgettable moment.

Here are some of the runners:

We had finishers coming in ranging from 5+ to 9+ hours. Its not about the timings, its about the determination!!

WELL DONE RUNNERS!!!
